"Beau" is a 1 year old, blue merle male, Australian Shepherd. Beau has been neutered and would be staying on our farm if he wasn't as he would have made an excellent stud dog! He is potty trained however, can still take a few weeks to learn your new home and environment. Beau came back to us a few months ago as his owners were an older couple where her husband's health drastically declined and they could no longer take him for walks and give him the activity needed. Beau is not hyper and knows how to settle down, however he does require exercise and loves to go on walks. Beau has stayed off leash on our farm and has never ran off- he is extremely loyal and dedicated to making his humans happy. Beau does well with other dogs and kids. I would prefer for him to go to a household with older kids versus toddlers. He does extremely well with my 2 year old son, but seems to like the older kids better. I would also like him to go with someone that enjoys going on walks, activities, hiking, and such. Beau really enjoys being out and about!
